woolgathering

Dating back to 16th century, woolgathering is a phrase used to describe the indulgence in wandering fancies and dreamy imagining. Visualize a weaver gathering fragments of wool torn from sheep by bushes and you'll have a clear understanding of this collage series, which happens to be among my personal favorites.
